In our Maiden event, 40 teams battled it out at the home of the yellowbelly, Windamere Dam to land their combined 10 best yellowbelly in length, with black grubs being the lure of choice for the winning team "Jigheads", Brag Gardiner, Neil Hodges and Greg Hodges ($3000) . Plenty of footballed sized yellas where landed over the two days, with a 614mm brute taking out the $500 Compleat Angler Bathurst biggest yella, for "Codtales Podcast" Angler Mick Haydon.
In second place we had the team from "Loomsys Fish N Fix" Jamie Loomes, Mitch and Nathan Skeers, ($2000) and in 3rd place we had "Crankan" Juke and Ruth Kelly and Milos Milovanovic. ($1000)
Teams from 4th-10th where also awarded with some awesome prize packs from, Shimano, Wilson and Profishent Tackle.
